  • Bill Gates contacted Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems to demonstrate basic programming for their new micro computer.
  • The comapany agreed to distributed Bill Gates new softwate computer and Bill Gates moved near to MIT in New Jersey and microsoft was founded there
  • On January 1, 1979, the company moved from Albuquerque to a new home in Bellevue, Washington. Steve Ballmer joined the company on June 11, 1980, and later succeeded Bill Gates as CEO
  • On August 12, 1981, after negotiations with Digital Research failed, IBM awarded a contract to Microsoft to provide a version of the CP/M operating system, which was set to be used in the upcoming IBM Personal Computer.

I have chosen the video above to be one of my top five video's as it was very interesting and kept my attention, it also had a comical element to it and got the information across pretty clearly...

I think rohins video derserves to be in my top 5 as he clearly put a lot of time an effort into not jus making the video but also to edit it. also the content and information was relevant aand interesting.

This video by yasmin is really effective and i think the effects they used were really good and engaged me. the actual content they were trying to put across was clear and informative.

I like this video because it was different to others in terms of the time and effort put into it as they have used the same idea as others but then put more time and efforts into theirs. it was very pleasing to watch.

I liked this video as it was entertaining and engaged me, it also used fast moving images to create and entertaining effect and make the audience want to learn information and the video puts this information across in a fun way.

Self - evaluation:

Aesthetics - This was a tie between a level 4 and 3 and nothing lower than this.- focus more on the detail of the production to make it look more organised and tidy

Creativity - The majority of the feedback i got gave the creativity of my video a 4. Only 2 feedback forms gave it a 3.- my video was very entertaining and funny to watch which kept the audience interested to watch it- unique as it was teh only video which contained actual videos from the internet, etc. and the idea of the video was unique within itself as it was different to evryone elses video- used actual images from the internet to expand your point and show my understanding.

Technology - Although one feedback form gave me a level 4 for the techological use of my video, the majority of the class gave me a level 3, however, 2 people gave me a level 2.- used more enhanced technology rather than using just a laptop for example a camcorder because of its simplicity.

Understanding - The majority of the feedback gave a level 4 for my understanding of the topic but there were a few that gave me a level 3 meaning there could be room for improvement in showing my understanding of the topic more. - all the information shown in the video was relevant and to the point of the topic- include more detail about the internet and its progress and changes over the years- more detail about the information age

Production Values - The majority of the feedback gave a level 3 for my prodcution values however a few gave me a level 4. - expand production values
